Shared spreadsheets break down as soon as more than a couple of people edit them: no column types, no permissions, no history of who changed what. The usual answer is a database tool like Airtable, which means a new interface, a migration, and a much bigger bill.

Rowbase sits in between. You get real structure and access control, while the Google Sheet your team already lives in stays connected and current.

Tables use a plain grid with typed columns (text, number, date, dropdown, email, checkbox), sorting, filtering, and instant search, and handle up to 100,000 rows each. Every row keeps its own edit history, and three permission levels (admin, editor, viewer) control who can do what.

The Google Sheets integration is two-way: new rows sync within seconds in either direction. Existing data comes in through CSV or Airtable import, and everything is hosted in the EU.

Billing is €9 per active seat per month, counting only editors and administrators; viewers are free and unlimited. A 14-day trial requires no credit card, billing is monthly and pro-rated with no long-term commitment, and custom plans are available for large volumes.
